On March 1st, Americans for Prosperity New Mexico hosted a press conference moderated by the ACLU and featuring the co-founders of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. The press conference was to urge support for HB4, which would bar the use in state courts of the qualified immunity defense. HB4 became law in New Mexico on April 7th.
